A professional is someone who can do his best work when he doesn't feel like it!

HELLO WORLD!

I presume anyone who has had an exposure to programming whether in BASIC/FORTRAN/COBOL/PASCAL/C/C++/JAVA has written those two famous words. Today I have decided to start my BLOG (though to be honest I have been thinking about doing it for quite a while but never got down to it!) with those two famous words.

My motivation (I know the cause and effect analogy which pushes you to do things!): A colleague of mine has removed me from an abyss and pumped my motivation and hunger for achieving things back on the track with this quote:
"A professional is someone who can do his best work when he doesn't feel like it" Alistair Cooke (American (born in the UK) Journalist, born 1908)

We all tend to think that we are professionals once we have bagged a degree in hand but then what is the "true" definition of being a PROFESSIONAL. A tough lesson which I have learnt so far in my working career. I am sure I will be put again in the same situation in the future; BUT now I am better armed with the above quote and know I can look for better days.

So "HELLO WORLD" I am back.

Thanks Russ.
